Marguerite was born in Sable River, NS where she grew up fishing, hunting, camping and hiking. She also loved lapidary and made beautiful jewelery. Her playing of the accordion and piano was amazing even though she didn’t read a note of music. At a young age Marguerite married Douglas Harlow and together raised their four boys in Sable River, NS. She moved to Victoria, BC in 1968; then followed her sons to Prince Rupert, BC. Married again in 1969 to Robert (Bobby) Wahl (deceased 1975) and raised a second family. Spending the rest of her years in Nanaimo, BC, she met Theodore(Ted) Jenson (deceased 2006) who was a loving companion for many years. Being close to family was very important to Marguerite. Her kind heart and wonderful sense of humour will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Special gratitude is extended to the loving and caring staff at The Gardens at Qualicum Beach. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held in late June. If desired, a donation to Seva Canada (seva.ca) can be made in lieu of flowers. Marguerite donated regularly to this charity as she was blind in her later years and wanted to help prevent blindness in others.
