Leo Chung Ki Chow passed away April 23, 2020 in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Born in 1941 in Hong Kong, he was a long-time resident of Nanaimo.
In 1965 Leo graduated from Seattle University BSc., became a Canadian citizen, and in 1966 became a certified teacher from the second in-take class at Simon Fraser University. From Summerland, BC to Nanaimo District 68, Leo taught at Woodland and Wellington science 8, 9, and 10 and retiring in 1996.
Leo is survived by his wife Mabel, sons Aaron Jacob(Deborah) in Kirkland,WA. and John Paul(Michelle) in Hamilton, ON. Precious grandsons William and Finley and sisters Trudy(Dennis) and Margret. To mourn Leo numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends in Nanaimo, USA and overseas.
Arrangement made at First Memorial Funeral Home, memorial at a later date. Past member at Trinity Catholic Church. No cards or flowers, Donors' Choice or Nanaimo Hospital Foundation, Heart and Stroke and BC Cancer Foundation.
