STROOD, Lawrence George (Larry)
December 27, 1950- September 18, 2005. Larry is survived by; his sons, Daniel and Andrew, his mother Harriet, all from Parksville, and his brother Ric from Texas. He will be remembered by his family and friends, many of them found him a good listener and the one to have in time of trouble. His great love was the outdoors and its animals, where he spent time enjoying nature and fishing, with his faithful dog Ben. His next love was gasoline engines, boat, car and motorcycles. He was happy building and rebuilding his motorcycle. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at the Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church, 550 North Pym in Parksville. A special thanks to the nurses at Nanaimo Hospital Palliative Care Unit, for their special care.
