Kimiye passed away peacefully on September 29, 2018 at the age of 96. Predeceased by Noboru (Norman) Uyeyama. Survived by son Shig (Danielle) and daughter Midori (Colin); grandchildren; Eric, Emilie, Louis- Marc, Michelle, great grandchildren Damien, Tristian and Theo.
Kimiye loved to travel, garden, do arts and craft, make flower arrangements and Japanese dance.
Her Celebration of Life will be from 2 - 5 pm on Sunday October 7, 2018 at Nikkei Centre Lobby, 6688 South Oak Cresc, Burnaby, B.C.
We would like to thank Tara, Dr. Tanaka, Nurses, staff, volunteers, Nikkei Seniors Home, St. Michael's Hospice, and Burnaby General.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Nikkei Seniors Centre.
