Kenneth Peter Guest
September 23, 1944 –March 17, 2013
Peter was born in St. John’s, Nfld. and passed away in Nanaimo, B.C. with his family by his side. He is survived by wife, Leila; son, David (Maria); granddaughter, Sophia; McConnan and Hague families and a wide circle of friends. He is predeceased by son, Jason; parents, Ken and Jean; and uncle, Eric.
After graduating from U.B.C. with a B.Comm., he lived and worked briefly in Brandon and Prince George before returning to his hometown of Nanaimo to start his career in real estate and insurance. Over the years he became well known for his growing insurance company and volunteer work, most notably with F.O.S., N.C.F and N.S.H.S.
Peter loved spending time outdoors with family and friends, especially on the water and at the cottage. He had a passion for adventurous travel, food, and life.

Peter and his family thank the staffs of the P.C.U., the Cancer Clinic and the Hospice Society for their excellent care.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Nanaimo Hospital PCU, Nanaimo Hospice, BC Cancer Agency or Nanaimo F.O.S.
A Celebration of Peter’s life will be held at the Nanaimo Yacht Club on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
