It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ken on the morning of April 30, 2018. Ken was born in Edmonton, Alberta and is predeceased by his father Reginald, mother Emile and brother Don.
Ken is survived by his wife Gloria of 58 years; children Connie (Wayne), Kenny, Doug (Brianne); grandchildren Koen, Dukane, Shafer, Charlene, Kristina, Trina, Samantha; great grandchildren Raeden, Aubree, Kylie; his sisters Doris, Ruby and brother Ron.
Ken worked as a pipefitter at Harmac for 42 years until his retirement in 2004. In his early years Ken enjoyed camping and fishing. Since his retirement Ken's passion was being outside in the yard keeping everything alive and well with that magic green thumb he had.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Ken on July 6, 2018 at 2 pm at Generations Church, 1300 Princess Royal Avenue, Nanaimo, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ken's honor to the Alzheimer Society of Nanaimo.
Ken will be sadly missed!
