Kenneth Earl Jones
April 8, 1925 - September 25, 2017
Ken Jones died peacefully on September 25, 2017 at the age of 92.
Ken was predeceased by his wife Shirley in February 2017.
He is survived by his three children, Janice (Lance), Jeff (Sue) and Jackie (Dave); six grandchildren, Carrie (Mike), Shaun (Caitlin), Abi (Jordy), Aidan, Shane (Julie) and Tristan; and three great grandchildren, Ethan, Luca and Francis.
Ken was also predeceased by his brother Donald who died serving his country in World War II.
The family would like to thank Dr. Louise Pienaar for the care she provided to Ken.
They would also like to thank the staff at Nanaimo Seniors Village who cared for Ken over the last three years and especially their support in his final days.
A service to celebrate Ken's life will be held on Monday, October 16 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philips by the Sea Anglican Church, 7113 Lantzville Road.
If desired, donations can be made in Ken's honor to Nanaimo Seniors Village, Alzheimer Society British Columbia or St. Philips by the Sea Anglican Church.
