Keith Shortt B.Sc., DDS. Keith passed away gently in the warm morning sun surrounded by love at Vancouver General Hospital. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and fell into a deep coma. Miraculously, a week later, he awoke to smile and talk with his family for one last time.

Keith was known in Nanaimo as a respected family dentist. He practiced alongside his colleagues Dr. Fern Savoie and Dr. Hermann Kraus, and later as a locum in the practice of Dr. Bob Jamieson in Richmond, BC.

To Keith's family and friends, he was kind, funny, creative and multi-talented. His hobbies included building fine furniture, making jewelry and repairing almost anything. He also enjoyed playing golf with his wife Sonia, dancing, taking road trips, boating, playing board games and Sudoku.

Keith was born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan and was predeceased by his parents Rena and Jack, brothers Glen and Gordon, and niece Cindy. He is lovingly remembered by his nieces Elaine, Marlene and Leslie, and nephew Dale. He is deeply missed by his loving wife Sonia, daughters Marena (John), Tara (Todd) and Lisa, and two beautiful grandchildren, Sebastien and Talia. He is deeply missed and will live in our hearts forever.

A celebration of life was held on May 19th. For additional memories, please visit: https://www. korucremation.com/obituaries/keith-f-shortt-b- scdds/
