Milne, Kathleen
born November 4, 1914 in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan passed away January 27, 2004 with family members by her side. She was predeceased by husband Albert; sister Evelyn Gaudie; brothers Archie and Clarence Peters. Survived by daughter Patricia (Don); son William; daughter-in-law Lois; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Kay and Bert came to Nanaimo in 1954 from Saskatchewan and moved to Burnaby in 1964. When Bert retired they took up a pleasurable lifestyle at Summergate Village in Sidney. Kay then returned to Nanaimo after Bert passed away. She enjoyed many years as secretary with Nanaimo and Burnaby School Boards. No service by her request. Interment will be in the Rose Wood section at Royal Oak Cemetery in Saanich. Many thanks to Dr. Bradley, Dr. Frew and the nurses and doctors in emergency and 5th floor as well as the ambulance crew. Donations may be made in Kathleen’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
