Maggie got an invitation from God that she couldn’t refuse. The kind of invitation that only VIP gets so that she can join Him in heaven.
In the early morning of March 30, 2018, she accepted her invitation and her family was by her side to say goodbye.
Maggie is survived by her husband Jay, daughter and son-in law Miri and Joon (Indiana), granddaughter Angie, brothers Byung-In (Korea) and Byung Joon (Massachusetts), sisters Myunghee (Texas) and Arlene (California).
Maggie, who was a South Korean native, was a concert pianist and had nurtured many youngmusicians until her family immigrated to Canada in 1996.
She settled in Boston Bar, BC where she was an owner and a friendly host of Canyon
Alpine RV Park along with her husband, Jay.
Upon her retirement, she moved to Nanaimo, BC where she became an dedicated volunteer at Nanaimo regional hospital thrift store.
She also used her musical talent at many churches to praise God and entertained many people atvarious nursing homes. She also became an aspiring artist and left many stunning water color paintings.
A memorial service will take place on April 14th, 2018 at Nanaimo Church of the Nazarene at 11 am to celebrate the beautiful life of Maggie.
