Josephine Charlotte Ferguson
1925 – 2013
Passed into the presence of the Lord Jesus on Saturday, July 20th. Born on July 25, 1925, one of six children, in Montreal; she married Arthur Hiram Ferguson in 1945 and moved to Saskatchewan where she raised her family of eight children. Predeceased by her husband, Arthur; and sons, David and Dick, she is lovingly remembered by her surviving children; Fran, Donna, Diane, Bill, Jim and Paul and their families.
Jo and Art moved to Vancouver Island in 1980 where their home welcomed family and friends alike. Mom's memory will be cherished for years to come, and we rejoice that we will be reunited with her in the presence of the Lord.
The family thanks Dr. T. Davies and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of NRGH for their gently compassionate care of Jo during her illness.
