Joseph Salvatore
With great sadness, the family of Joseph Salvatore Palladini announces his passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on November 29, 2014. Born in Montreal on May 25, 1960, he was the beloved son of Joseph and Mary Palladini of Ottawa and the devoted husband of 24 years to Mersedeh Palladini. Joey and Mersedeh moved to Nanaimo in 2004, where he lived his dream and passion as owner/operator of Able Body Consulting. Over the years, he formed and valued many close friendships with his clients.
In addition to his parents and wife, Joey will be greatly missed by son Bobby of Nanaimo; daughters Nina and Casandra of Ontario; brothers Sam (Claudia) and Chris (Diane) of Montreal; sister Marie (Terry) of Ottawa; parents-in-law Moe and Asraf Mahloudjian; brother-in-law, Mahrdad of Germany; Dr. Hoshmand and family of Hawkesbury Ontario, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
The Palladini family is extremely grateful for the loving care given to Joey by the staff of the Palliative Care Unit team, Father Jozef Kobos, neighbours Larry and Jean, special friends Coleen, Jane, Angela and Terry.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Catholic Church, 6234 Spartan Road, Nanaimo on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Father Jozef Kobos officiating. Burial will be in Montreal, Quebec following service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Trinity Catholic Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
