SUBRYAN, Joseph Eric (Joe)
fondly known to some as Handyman Joe and Nanaimo Times carrier, born in Georgetown, Guyana on March 16, 1922, passed away peacefully before dawn on August 1, 2004. Joe is survived by his wife Birgit, their daughters Lone (Todd) Odgers, Laila (Mark) Evans and Linda (Kristof) Subryan, and son Linley. The family wishes to extend their appreciation and thanks to Dr. Scher, the nurses and staff at Dufferin Place, TLC and 6th Fl at NRGH, Rachelle Pelletier, Nanaimo Home Support and Nanaimo Hospice for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hope Lutheran Church Building Fund.
