Jon (Peter) Mickelson
July 16, 1937 - October 15, 2016
Pete passed away peacefully on October 15 at the age of 79. Pete was predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years Valerie Mickelson (Knowles). He is survived by his sons Robert and William and his daughter Randi (Brian) as well as many grandchildren, a great grandchild, nieces, nephews and brother-in-law William Knowles.
Pete spent his early years in the Navy and then worked as an officer for 35 years with the BC Ferries. Pete loved life and made the most of his retirement spending time with friends and family. He will be greatly missed.
An open house will be held in Pete’s honour at his home on December 10 from 1-4 pm.
