PARKER, JOHN

Passed away peacefully on May 12, 2009 at the age of 87 in the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. John was born in Calgary, Alberta. He served with the RCAF in WWII and worked as a draftsman until retiring to Vancouver Island in 1990. Photography and painting were his interests, but flying was always his passion.

John is survived by his loving wife Margaret, children Collin Parker, Lori Palmerton, Heather (Don) Baldwin, Kelly (Tim) Sanders, Karen (Bruce) Tidlund and Rob Dick. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.

Cremation with No Service by Request. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzeimer’s Society of BC.
