McLeod, John Leslie
Born July 11, 1942 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. John passed peacefully in his sleep on June 28, 2006. He was a gentle, loving soul who always put the needs of others before his own. He is survived by his parents: Jack and Julia McLeod, his two sons; Greg McLeod and John McLeod, daughters; Linda McLeod and ÂHarmony McLeod, 7 grandchildren and the Âfamilies of his sister and brother. He was well loved by all. The imprint of a father remains forever on the heart of the child. We will miss you dad. There will be a viewing from 10:00-1:00. The Funeral Service will start at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1720 Bowen Road, ÂNanaimo. Donations can be made in John’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of choice.
