Dec.10, 1931-July 25, 2017

It is with great sadness we announce Jack’s sudden passing at the age of 85. Jack was born in Nanaimo, the son of Edna and Leslie (Lal) Booth. He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Marilyn Razzano and brother-inlaw, Dave Razzano.

Jack lived his early years in Youbou, returning to Nanaimo in 1948. He gained employment as a lumber marker and worked in many sawmills in the area until his retirement.

Jack loved sports and was a regular attender and avid supporter of the Nanaimo Clippers, the V.I. Raiders and local lacrosse teams. He was a past member of the Elks and a lifelong member of Branch 10 Legion.

Left to mourn his passing is his sister, Darlene and husband George Schofield and their daughters Judine (Wendell Maki) and family of Nelson and Gail (Len Thomson) and family of Lantzville. He is also survived by nephew, David Razzano (Lorelie), and nieces Donna Skipper (Grant), Allison Razzano (Dan Normand) and their families, Lorraine Razzano and Crystal Razzano all of Nanaimo.

Jack has requested there be no service and flowers are gratefully declined.
