John died suddenly of a heart attack at Nanaimo Regional Hospital.
Survived by the love of his life, wife Susan, sister Sheila, brothers Lanny (Bonnie), Leonard (Sharon), numerous nieces, nephews and God children.
John’s passion for life was shared with many dear friends and family on the golf links, fishing, boating and vacationing in Hawaii and Yuma.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Dec 6th at 1:00 p.m. at the Beach Club Resort, 181 Beachside Drive, Parksville. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to the North Island Wildlife Recovery Association, www.niwra.org or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
