Joan Winifred Cameron
March 11, 1924 ~ July 27, 2011
Joan passed on July 27th at Nanaimo Seniors Village while under the loving care of the staff on the second floor. Joan’s humor and wit drew people to her. Even in her final days, she was able to cause the people around her to smile.
Predeceased by husband, Ian Cameron; daughter, Fiona Cameron-Wassing; brother, William Wright. Survived by son, Ewan Cameron; granddaughter, Megan Stacey (Jonathon Stacey); grandson, Calum Cameron (Sarah Cameron); great grandsons: Cohen & Ryder Cameron; son, Ian Cameron (Catherine Green); son-in-law, Bert Wassing and grandson, Jonathan Wassing.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Nanoose Library, Saturday, August 20th from 2-4pm.
