Joan will be deeply missed by her husband of 55 years, James Nicolson, her daughters Patricia Punnett of Victoria and Janet Saunders of Nanaimo, sons-in-law Jon Punnett and Bob Saunders, cherished grandchildren Elizabeth and Hilary Punnett and James and Gareth Saunders, and great granddaughter Amara Eve. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Vaughan for the care he provided to mom, and Dr. Love and the hospice volunteers and nursing staff in the Palliative Care Unit at NRGH for making mom's last days as peaceful as possible. Also, thank you to all mom and dad's friends for their support during these past few months.
