Joan Frances McCormick
February 16, 1946 ~ August 3, 2009
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one, Joan McCormick, after a short illness. She was a very loving and sincere lady who centered her life around her family and friends.
Joan was predeceased by both her parents and her sister, Carol Swanson. She will be greatly missed by Stuart, her husband of 42 years, and her sons Edward (Kim) and Dwayne, and her very precious grandchildren Christopher, Ashley, Bailey and Hannah.
She is also survived by her sisters, Lori (John) Salmon, Pat (Ed) Griswold, Connie Bell, her brother Dick (Mona) Bell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many other extended family.
There will be no service by request; a private family gathering will be held to honor Joan’s memory.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation to the Cancer Society.
