Joan F. Scammell, 87, of Nanaimo, British Columbia, passed peacefully on Thursday, March 31, 2016. Joan is survived by her five children: Richard, Kelly, Cheryl, Lori and Robert as well as eight grandchildren: Wendy, Jennifer, Chris, Tracy, Terra, Joey, Amanda and Courtney; and twelve great-grandchildren: Taydem, Paige, Bodie, Dace, Brynn, Raegan, Matthew, Zachary, Abigail, Brayden, Riley, and Kai.
