Jo-Anne passed away peacefully at the palliative care unit in Nanaimo, with her family by her side. Jo put up a courageous battle with Cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Jack, he daughter Shelly Harder (Parry) grandchildren Jake and Courtney. Brothers Lionel Fort (Dolores) Oshawa, Ont., Mike Larsen (Shelley), sister Cleo Fort and special aunt and uncle Al and Sheila Solmie, brother-in-law Tom, stepfather Mel Larsen (Theresa) mother-in-law Gladys. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit. Service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pallative Care Unit in Jo's name.
