Born January 22, 1940 in Wilkie, Saskatchewan
Beloved wife of Geir Larsen, Jeannie passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer’s on July 28th, 2016 at Dufferin Place in Nanaimo, BC.
Predeceased by parents: Mother: Yvonne (Eva Marie) Co-Dyre, Father: John Wangler, and step-father: Kelly (Bernard J.) Co-Dyre.
Brother-in-law: Douglas Kerley, son-in-law: Don Lambert, Step-sons: Kare Neil Larsen, Geir Malvin Larsen, and step-grandson: James Larsen.
Survived by: Daughters: Kasi (Ken) Hawser, Kelly Lambert, and son Kerry (Tracy) Berke. Sisters: Lila Kerley, Betty (Malcolm) Hedman, and Doreen (Omar) Cyr. Brothers: Bud (Bernard) Wangler and Gary (Lynn) Wangler. Brother-in-law: Rune (Irene) Larssen (Norway), Step-sons: Johnny & Neil Larsen, and also many Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
We wish to thank the staff at Birch Wing of Dufferin Place for their devotion and care for Jeannie.
Cremation has taken place. No service by request.
A private Celebration of Life will be held by the immediate family at a later date.
