Laycock, Jean Ruth
February 6, 1920 -
December 7, 2005
Jean passed away peacefully with family at her side after a brief illness. Predeceased by husband Steve and daughter Marlene Pruesse, Jean will be missed by her grandchildren; Kym, Gara, Niko (Mark Adams), Nina (Douglas Brown), Ky (Andrea) Pruesse, and great grandchildren Rhoen, Anika, Zea, Loic and dear friends Margaret Stroyan, Penny Fulla, Jocelyn Klein and residents and staff at Berwick On The Lake. Born in Shaunavan, Saskatchewan, Jean moved to Penticton where she raised her daughter and worked as a nurse. In her 50's she moved to LacLaHache where she practiced and taught yoga for many years. She and her husband Steve shared laughter, love and a passion for nature. Jean had a great sense of humour, liked a good joke, and had a gift for making people laugh. A woman of great wit and compassion, Jean is lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
