Jean Mitchell
February 7, 1923 - September 25, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother and grandmother, Jean Mitchell.
She leaves behind her son David (Rene), daughter Mary and grandson Cameron.
Jean lived a full life, with many years spent travelling south in the winters with her husband Ken, and enjoying the summers tending the gardens on Gabriola Island and entertaining guests.
She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it, and she will be missed by all of us.
There will be no funeral, but a celebration of life will be held in Nanaimo at a date to be determined.
