BAXTER, Jean Houston
Born November 26, 1915 in Paisley Scotland. Jean passed away peacefully, on Sunday December 28th, 2008 in Cowichan District Hospital with her family by her side. She is predeceased by her loving husband George of 50 years, her son William and son-in-law Gary, and is survived by daughters Rosalie and Patricia and son Don (Norma) and daughter-in-law Dierdre, and eight grandchildren Julie, Sheryl, Vicki (Ken), Don Jr. (Diana), Lee (Siew), Kirsten, Darryl, Dylan, Alan, Andrew, Mandi, Daniel, Tia, Liam, Davin MacKenna and Bryn.
Jean will be remembered always for her pleasant smile and her love of the game of hockey (Canucks) just lost one of their most faithful fans). The family would like to thank the staff for the wonderful care Jean received during her years at the Cowichan Lodge and a special thanks to the 2nd floor nurses at CHD.
There will no flowers or funeral by request. Donations may be made to charity of your choice. A celebration of Jeans life to be held at a later date.
