Jean Elizabeth Wootton, of Nanaimo, BC, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Trillium Woodgrove Manor, at the age of 90. She was born October, 23, 1928 in West Bromwich, England to Edwin and LilyJarvis. ShemarriedColinWootton on October 23, 1948. She is survived by children Edwina (Randy), Alison (Steven), Mitchell, Alister (Donna), grandchildren Robyn, Aaron, Jordan, Alex and Tiara, and great-grandchildren Amelia and Willow. Colin preceded her in death.
Jean loved to garden, having dinner parties with friends and oil painting. She was a member of The Women's Institute and also contributed time to volunteering at various organizations; including church functions, Altar Guard and ACW.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 100 Chapel Street, Nanaimo, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jean's memory to St. Paul's Anglican Church.
