GOTT, Janet Maxine
(nee Holler)
was born on May 26, 1924 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to Ross and Minetta Holler. She and her twin sister Margaret, older brother Don and younger sister Joan attended highschool in Saskatoon. Maxine met her prince charming William (Bill) Robert Gott at Fort William. They married June 6, 1945 and they lived in Port Arthur for one year before moving to Calgary. They were blessed first with the birth of their son Gregory and then their daughter Judith. In 1967, Bill and Maxine moved to Nanaimo, BC. Maxine Gott passed away with her family at her side February 10, 2006. Maxine will be dearly missed by her husband of 60 years, Bill, her son Gregory and daughter-in-law Lynn, daughter Judy and son-in-law Gary Fletcher, the three grandchildren and the four great grandchildren. A service was held at Trinity United Church on 6234 Spartan Road, Nanaimo, BC, on Wednesday, February 15th, 2006 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Cancer Society of BC or Trinity United Church would be gratefully appreciated.
