Passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2008 after a short battle with cancer at the age of 69.
Beloved husband of Bonnie (nee Bruder) Walser for 48 years. Loving father of Janis Smeltzer (Chris) of Elora and Brett Walser of Kitchener. Dear grandfather or Cory Smeltzer, Sandra Walser, Greg Smeltzer, Travis Smeltzer and Lucas Smeltzer. Howard is survived by two brothers and three sisters.
Predeceased by his parents Edward and Marion Walser and sons Edward (1995) and Timothy (1971).
A memorial mass for Howard will take place at 10 am on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 267 Geddes St., Elora, and will be followed by a reception at St. Mary’s School. Howard’s cremated remains will be interred at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Elora immediately following the memorial mass.
