James Rudolph passed away on January 24, 2017 at the age of 97.

Predeceased by his parents, John Paul Rudolph and Annie Georgina Dymott, and by siblings, Gladys, Leslie, Edna, Evelyn, Ethel and Stanley.

James is survived by his son Alan (Jenny) and his daughter Patricia (Brian), along with his ten grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.

James grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa where he met and married Dorothy in 1942. They moved to Canada in 1988. James was devoted to Dorothy; they did extensive traveling, loved tennis and were ardent ballroom dancers winning many competitions. James was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather to his family and always looked forward to spending time with them. Together with his wife he served a mission for the church and he was always very dedicated to helping others. His positive attitude, great example and wonderful sense of humour will be greatly missed.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Ehman and the compassionate workers at Wexford Creek.

Funeral Service was held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2424 Glen Eagle Crescent, Nanaimo, BC.
