JagJiwan Lal
It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Jagjiwan Lal. (AKA: Jags/Jagu Bhai). Jags passed away peacefully at Vancouver General on January 3, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Pushpa Lal; 5 children and 8 grandchildren.
Jags settled in Nanaimo after coming from the Fiji Islands with his wife and children. He ran a successful tailoring business, Jags Tailors, on Milton Street for 35 years. Jag was a very caring and loving man, always willing to lend a helping hand. A service was held for Jags in Vancouver after his passing.
“A part of him resides inside each and every one of us, he will be missed but will always remain forever in our hearts.” - His family.
