Jacqueline Mae Dick
August 3, 1930~February 3, 2010
Jacqueline May Dick was born in Chemainus B.C. to Annie and John Hocevar. She passed away peacefully at home February 3, 2010.
Jacqueline was predeceased by her parents, loving husband George (1988), and loving partner Harris (2008/. She will be forever lovingly remembered by her daughters Jade (Mike) Georgina (Rick) Wendy (Bill) and Sandra (Jim) and her 2 sisters, Lillian (Bill) and Gail (Joe).
Jacqueline was a proud grandma to Clint, David, Katlin (Matt) and Kelsey.
Mom had varied musical tastes from Mahalia Jackson to Michael Jackson. She always knew to Top 40 despite the era. She loved bingo, baseball and bowling, in that order. She had no greater love than cheering her daughters and grandchildren at all their various sporting events. Moms focus was her family and she spent many happy gatherings and holidays with her clan. Laughter was always high on the priority list at any family functions. She was a kind, considerate Mother, sister and friend.
The family is eternally thankful to the kindness, care and compassion shown to her by Dr. Brian White, her home care workers and especially Marie who became a friend Mom spent many enjoyable outings with.
We can picture Mom on her final journey with her La Boheme CD playing loudly.
