EKMAN, Jack Harold

June 9, 1920 ~ July 29, 2006

Born June 9, 1920 in Smithers, BC. Passed away peacefully in Nanaimo Hospital with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ena, his children Eric (Lindy), Jackie (Dave) Wilson, Elaine (Larry) Lohnes, Christina (Gearl) Norton, his grandchildren Jamie, Aaron, Kristen, Rob, Amie, Cara, Dione (Luke), great grandson Evan, brother Frank and sister Gladys. Jack will be remembered for his loving heart, great sense of humor and his devotion to his wife and family. A scattering of his ashes will take place at a later date in Smithers. Special thanks to the home support and hospital staff.
