GERLOCK, Jack
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jack Gerlock on July 16, 2016.
Jack leaves behind his wife of 62 years Edith, his son Gord Gerlock (Shannon Bradley), daughter Leslie Cunningham (Joe), grandchildren, Troy Thorsell, Courtney Cunningham, Drew Cunningham (Jessica Hermanson) and Ashlee Rewcastle (Ray.)
Jack was born November 7, 1932 in Nanaimo, BC to Edith and Herman Gerlock.
Jack was a longshoreman for more than 35 years and was still very close to all his workmates and Protection Island friends.
Jack’s nickname for all his friends and acquaintances was “Palsy.”
Jack was loved by all who knew him and will be missed tremendously.
We also want to say special thanks to his extended family at Woodgrove Manor.
Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
