KARLHEINZ HENSEL
February 3, 1937 to April 17, 2009
Born in Germersheim, Germany, Karl immigrated to Canada in 1956.
Karl started working at Harmac as a journeyman/tradesman in 1964 and was a longstanding member of Local 8, PPWC.
After retirement in 1998, Karl enjoyed winters in southern California, practicing the accordion, reading and helping friends.
Karl will be greatly missed by his wife of fifty years, Isabelle (Liz), sons: Norm (Linda), Glenn (Joanne); six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother Armin; sisters Sylvia and Carmen, his step-mother Hilda and many friends. Karl was predeceased by his parents and son David.
Viewing was held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on April 21st at 1:30 pm, service followed at 2:00 p.m.
Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
