STEWART, Helen

The family of Helen Stewart wishes to announce her sudden passing on December 24, 2014 in Nanaimo. She was born in Saskatchewan on Nov. 1, 1933. To continue on for her, is her husband, Ray Stewart and to continue her legacy are her children Rick Stewart, Dean Stewart (Karen), Sharon Barker (Brian) and David Stewart, her grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She will be remembered by her sisters, Marge Siriani (Ivan), Eileen Robson (Norm), Louise Little (Jack) and Bernice Linford (Clem) and her numerous nieces and nephews.
Helen liked to play bridge and over the years made many good friends at the bridge table. She loved to garden and going out in the car to marvel at the changing landscape.
She was a lady of many hats and we will miss her.

A “Celebration of Life” open house will be held at Harewood Activity Centre in Nanaimo, on May 16, 2015 from 1-4pm.
