Helen passed away peacefully in the company of her family on Friday, April 18. She had lived in Nanaimo since moving from Victoria in 1970, and was predeceased by her loving husband Ed (1993). Helen was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who always took a special joy in caring for others. Her gentle spirit touched all who knew her. Helen was an avid local volunteer in Nanaimo always helping those in need. She will be greatly missed by her children Charlie (Tara), Karen, and Rob (Hilary), and grandchildren Scott, Graeme (Karly), Elena, and Holly, and great grandchildren Kohen and Karis.
Our family is extremely appreciative of the love and care provided to Mom by the dedicated staff at the Nanaimo Travellers' Lodge.
Friends and family are invited to attend a gathering on Saturday, May 10 at 2pm at 5743 Quarry Crescent, Nanaimo, BC.
