Its with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, sister, grandmother and friend at age 94. Helen was born in Outlook Saskatchewan and then moved to British Columbia in 1955. Helen is survived by her son Jim (Irene) Porter, Saskatoon; daughter Bonnie Callen, Nanaimo; stepson Kerry (Solange) Davies, Vernon; stepdaughters Merilee (Doug) Davies, Victoria; Cathie (Tom) Rose, Nanaimo; Caroline (Barry) Erickson, Nanaimo; her brother Floyd (Irene Johnson, Saskatoon; sister Isla (Don) Nelson, Osoyoos and Lou Jantzen, Surrey, plus many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Nanaimo Seniors Village for their caring and the loving kindness shown to Helen during her stay. A service will be held in the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Service 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo 250-754-8333 on Friday, March 9th, 2007 at 1:00pm.
