THORNTON, Helen Lillian
It is with great sadness that the family of Helen Lillian Thornton announces her peaceful passing during her sleep in the early hours of July 23, 2016 at her home at Wexford Creek at the age of 94.
She is survived by her loving children; son Bill (Marg), daughters Mary (Jim), Pat (Danny) and son Robert (Maureen). Helen is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, a brother-in-law, a sister-in-law and many nieces, nephews and their families.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Kaban and all of mom’s “extended family”; the staff, students and residents at Wexford Creek who took such loving care of our dear mom since she moved there in December 2010.
A celebration of Helen’s life will take place at First Memorial, 1720 Bowen Road @ 11:00am on Saturday, August 13, 2016.
