Harold Alfred Morison, 85, of Nanaimo, BC passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on the evening of November 1, 2015 in Palliative Care at NRGH following a 17 month battle with leukemia.
Harold was born in Moosehorn, Manitoba on August 11,
1930 to the late John and Emma (Schade) Morison. Harold was a loving husband to Moraine (Pay) whom he married on September 20, 1958. Whether Harold was building wonderful places from bare land or planting countless trees, gardens, flower beds, and flower pots, wherever he went he made the world a more beautiful place. God blessed Harold with strength of character, mind and body. His smile and unfailing love and support for his family will be greatly missed.
Harold was preceded in death by his son Brad. He is survived by his wife Moraine, brother Larry, sister Shirley, son Scott, daughters Valerie and Noreen and grandchildren Kyle, Deanna, Carson and Evan.
