It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Graham Williamson on Friday, September 23, 2016. He was a beloved husband to Jill and a devoted father to Bryce, Carmen and Denise.
Graham recently retired in June from School District #68 in Nanaimo where he had worked as a groundsman for 38 years. He loved the outdoors; camping, gardening, bird watching and feeding the hummingbirds. Every Father’s Day he traveled with his family to the classic car show in Qualicum. This yearly event created a special bond between he and his son. One of Graham’s favourite moments was building his famous campfires while drinking a beer and if it had been possible, watching the Canucks play hockey. Graham was dedicated to his three children and cherished his wife and he did everything possible to ensure their success.
He is survived by his two older brothers Leuan and Robert and his younger sister Teresa.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday October 1, 2016 at the Christ Community Church on Bowen Road in Nanaimo.
Flowers are gratefully declined, however, donations could be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Graham will be celebrating in heaven with his brother Brent and his mom and dad.
