In loving memory ~
Grace was born in Coronation, Alberta and had a very good long life, she was a loving Mother, Grandma and Great-grandma. Grace was predeceased by her husband George Venables in 2004.
Survived by her sons Terry (Kathy) and Les (Marilyn), and daughters Cheryl (John) and Arlene. grandchildren Deja, Cory, Jeff, Wayne, Brandon, and David. Great-grandchildren Mikaia, Kayla, Carson, Hunter, Addison, and Aiden. Grace had many lifelong friends that she continued to keep in contact with as recently as Christmas 2022.
Grace's working years were spent in banking for many decades, and she was very proud of her career. She was a stickler for details, and she did have a gift for figures! She prided herself in everything she did, including her volunteer work with the Royal Purple in both Edmonton and Nanaimo. Grace enjoyed travel, bowling, cards, square dancing and beating people at Cribbage.
Her mind for family memories was incredible, she was the family historian!
Grace was deeply loved and will be missed by all her family, and extended family but there is comfort in knowing she is reunited with other loved ones in Heaven.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 28th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church 100 Chapel St. Nanaimo, B.C.
