It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Grace Culpepper on October 7, 2016 and Earl James Culpepper on October 9, 2016.
Mom and Dad were predeceased by their son, Bradley and grandson, Chase. They will be missed by their children, Brent (Diane), Cheryl and Darrin (Pornpimol), grandchildren, Sean (Jennifer), Sarah, Taylor (Rachel), Brock (Melanie), Tawney and Cole, great-grandchildren, Stephen and Morgaine, sister, Markey Pellow and more wonderful friends than we can count.
Mom and Dad married in 1953 in Victoria and moved to Nanaimo in 1962 where they raised their four children. They worked tirelessly to provide for their family, we never wanted for anything. They were active members of the community, involved in numerous organizations throughout the years. Together they enjoyed travel, golf, bridge and Probus Club. Mom passed away peacefully after a long illness leaving Dad brokenhearted. Knowing he could not live without her, he followed her two days later. A true love story.
In keeping with their wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Earl and Grace’s memory to the Cancer Society, Unit E – 777 Poplar Street, Nanaimo, BC V9S 2H7.
