"Old Gord" passed away peacefully after an amazing fight with cancer. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 66 years, Shirley, less than one year ago; and his grandson, Gordon, in 1979.
He is survived by his daughters Sharon Evans (Rick), Trish Jennings, and son George (Charlene); grandchildren Chuckie, Jocelyn, Kathleen, and George; great-grandchildren Alexis, Abbey, Scarlett, Ella, Viktor, Karlo, and the latest addition, Parker Lynn Jennings. He will be fondly remembered and missed by all.
We would like to give our special thanks to all the wonderful people in the Palliative Care Unit at NRGH for their compassion and support for Gordon and his family.
There will be no service by request. Donations in Gordon's name may be made to the Palliative Care Unit or the charity of your choice.
