Tebb, Gloria Mary
A native daughter of Nanaimo born on December 12, 1926, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2003 in Nanaimo Regional Hospital. She is predeceased by her brother Tony and her niece Lyn Nugent. Gloria is survived by her loving husband Harry of 44 years, her step-children Dianne (Dave) Endrizzi, Judy Hasiuk, Ron Tebb. She is also survived by her sister Nita (Norm) McLaren, and her brother Joe (Loni) Medves, numerous grand-children, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins in Italy. Gloria worked for Woolworths as a bookkeeper for 38 years retiring in 1984. She was an avid needlepoint and cross-stitch worker, winning numerous prizes over many years. Gloria will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. A funeral service will be held for Gloria on Thursday, October 16, 2003, at 1:00pm, at Sands Funeral Chapel, One Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, BC. Reverend Mas Iwasawa presiding. A private family graveside will take place at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gloria’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
