After a series of strokes that left her blind and unable to walk, our wonderful mother, wife, grandma, great grandma, great great grandma, daughter, aunt and friend succumbed to her ailments on November 28, just a few months before her 99th birthday. Gladys was a kind, caring, loving and generous person who was always doing something for others.
She leaves behind her husband of 75 years, Soren, her sons Garry (Rose) and Daryl and their children and grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Ivan and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends, all of whom she dearly loved.
We are grateful to have had her in our lives for so many years, a pleasure that many do not get to have.
There will be no service at her request. If you want to honour Gladys, please do something kind for someone else as she would have done.
Rest well Mom. You had a long life well lived and were well loved and cherished by many.
