1943-2016
We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Geri on September 28th while on a cruise celebrating her 40th wedding anniversary. Geri was born in Nanaimo and spent her entire life here. Being with her family was the most important thing in her life. Left to mourn is her loving and devoted husband Brent. Her children whom she loved dearly and would do anything for: Michelle Sterling, Kelly Sterling (Jerry) and her son Chris Longden (Erin). Her only grandchild who she treasured Samantha Sterling. She also leaves her sister and brother Ann Blue and Russell McCabe and their families. Geri and Brent loved to travel in their motor-home and spend time up at Surfside always with they most faithful and loved Bear. In Lieu of flowers please give generously to the BC Heart and Stroke and the BC SPCA. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. No one will ever be able to take her place... she will be forever missed
