Currie, Georgina Mae
Georgina passed away on Friday, March 21, 2003 after a short but brave fight with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Garnie of 47 years. She also leaves to mourn her children Janet (Reg), Don and Jim (Bev) and her grandchildren Ryan, Darren, Jamie, Nikki, Matthew and Brandon. Georgina is also survived by her sister Joan Thompson and aunt Dorothy Folka of Chilliwack, BC.Georgina was predeceased by her mother and father, Lyall and Della Barrie, and brothers, Jack and Don Barrie. The best Wife, greatest Mom, loving Sister and Grandmother, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Georgina will also be missed by her former co-workers at Purdy Chocolates, Harbour Park Mall. A special thank you to Dr. Brian White, Sue and the staff at the Family Practice Clinic, and the Palliative Care Unit at NRGH for their kind and compassionate care. No service by Georgina’s request.
