George Rigby 1921 - 2009
George passed away Nov. 25th at Malaspina Gardens, his home for the past three years.
He spent 20 years working for the C.P.R. on the Princess ships, then 25 years working at Harold’s Club in Reno, Nevada. He came home to retire and be with family.
He is survived by daughter, Delaine Burnet; sisters: Catherine Griffin & Ruth Hunter; brother: Allan Russel, their families & special friend Jack Foster who took him for coffee on Wednesdays. Heartfelt thanks to everyone at Malaspina Gardens for the excellent care George received along with all the smiles and hugs. Also to George’s hero, Dr. Lane, over the years. All very much appreciated by the family.
